It is sometimes hard to know what has happened to your water supply during an extreme event or in your absence, if you are confident that your tank was unaffected you may want to treat your water to kill bacteria. This is a good idea each year to know your drinking water is free from the build up of pathogens. We do recommend getting your tank cleaned and refilled with potable water. Your local council will usually offer some help after a major event that affects your private water supply.
