Cleaning a concrete water tank while it`s full with an

Cleaning an empty tank some water is pumped into a reserve tank for

and recomendations made if a repair is required.
Or a transfer
and clean empty, if you have two similar sized tanks close together, both about
half-full, we can transfer into one tank, clean the other then transfer the
water back and clean the second tank.
When we do need
to enter your water tank our staff are certified to assess your tank for gases
and low oxygen levels. We use the best equipment to eliminate any risk and to
maintain a safe work site while working with confined
spaces.
.Water Quality
Management
Once the water is in your tank, it’s important
to keep an eye on the cleanliness and quality. A wide range of factors can
affect the quality of stored rainwater including insects, bacteria, heat, light
penetration and a gradual build up of debris. These are all factors you can
control. The good news is that routine tank maintenance doesn’t have to be a
headache.
Sludge is a build-up of a variety of small
particles at the bottom of a tank, including vegetation debris, bird or animal
deposits from your water catchment area, air-borne pollution or materials from
the roof and gutter such as flaking paint and iron. If it’s not removed, sludge
can eventually build-up and block the tank water outlet or even be drawn out
through the outlet, tainting the water and damaging the pump or toilet
system.
